Red Herring selects LANDesk Software as one of the Top 100 private companies for the second straight year

Salt Lake City—May 24, 2005—LANDesk Software, a leading provider of integrated systems and security management solutions, today announced that it has been named to the Red Herring Top 100 for the second year in a row. Red Herring Top 100 is an annual survey of leading private technology companies head-quartered in North America with strong IT market presence.

According to Red Herring, an online news magazine dedicated to business and technology, companies were selected based on ability to survive and succeed in today’s challenging technology marketplace through their technology, innovation and market strategy.

For the 2005 evaluation, Red Herring editors evaluated business models, analyzed profitability forecasts, assessed management teams and examined technology using quantitative and qualitative data from almost one thousand technology companies.
